Nutec was the first to bring this technology to the golf industry. NuTec Soil® offers several services based on 30 years of experience in farming. Owner, Marc Thigpen also brings 10 years of experience in precision farming and GIS mapping to the golf industry. These services include GPS sampling (soil, plant and nematode); variable rate lime and fertilizer applications; acreages of fairways, tees, greens and sand traps; application of pre-emerge herbicides; location of irrigation lines and equipment; and 3-D topographic maps.
